Before I update back up version 1.3 ipa . Allow idos to keep upgrading. I understand this version has no file sharing but thats ok. Just install the old one copy over the stuff then update to version 1.4 or 1.5 so on and so forth. Just back up your ipa!!

Thank you for the iOS 9 crash fix! This works really well now. It would be great if it froze a snapshot when I quit or switched iOS apps so I could jump right back in when I switch back to idos instead of having to run things again.

It hopes to return to previous versions.

The latest version removes file sharing which is very useful to me as I run dos apps that create text files I use in Notes and other text editors. I will stay with 1.3 until file sharing is restored. See below for a method of using v.1.3 in landscape mode. Until the developer updates this app, the only way to run it on iPhone running iOS 9 is in landscape mode (open iDos 2 and it crashes; open any app that runs in landscape mode; double click the home button, find iDos 2 and tap it; it will then open in landscape mode!). My iPad Air 2 runs this app in either mode. I’ve been waiting for this app to come back. It lets me run all my DOS apps (yes, I still use DOS). More importantly, it gives me access to the apps and the data they produce from iTunes! It works great and is better than the first version. To get to the DOS “c:” prompt, connect your iOS device to iTunes with the USB cable and click the apps button. Scroll down to iDOS 2 and you will see all the files including “play.bat.” Drag it to the Desktop and edit it with textedit to remove all but the first four lines. Rename the original file oldplay.bat and drag both files back into the iTunes app. Restart iDOS 2 and you will get the “c:” prompt from which you can run apps, etc.

Thank you so much for fixing the iOS 9 launching crash that was happening before. Im once again reunited with my beloved DOS games!

My only problem when updating to iOS 9 is this app crashes immediately. Please fix! It worked fine before I updated my IPhone yesterday. As for my iPad 2, it could run it with no problems on iOS 9 on the previous version that had File Sharing enabled. Please return the feature, as I have more games and apps to try and also play!

How the heck do you copy programs into the dosBox? Looks awesome but there is no instructions that I can find at least. 3 old games not really worth it. Have lots of my own but how do I install them?

I have latest update of ios9. This app crashes upon launch most of the time. Please enable file sharing!! its unusable right now.....

Wish there was a landscape mode or something

Cant copy my own files to the app.

Since the last update, this is no longer the best way to have an old PC in my pocket. iTunes File Sharing is gone, and so is the utility of this app. Disappointing.

Wasted my money, cannot add my own files or no iTunes file sharing.

I am successfully playing The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall on my iPad Mini 2! It was not an easy process, but it is nearly lag free!

Great DOS emulator, but the keyboard and screen are just a bit too small. Please bring back landscape mode!

This is without a doubt the best app I could find to play dos games! But because of Apples file sharing options, we can no longer install our own games! Please please enable the file sharing option for this app!!!

This is a fantastic app, but the biggest issue is that it lacks keyboard support which would make everyones DOS dreams come true.

This is a great app, it just really needs file sharing to come back!
